Jill D. Miller is passionate about helping people grow – professionally and personally. With her independent business development consulting company, Creative Solutions, Jill has helped fledgling entrepreneurs launch out-of-the-ordinary and sometimes quirky new ventures, helped seasoned business owners see new possibilities, and has kept freelancers motivated since 1998. Jill started teaching entrepreneurship classes at Wichita State University in 2013, which she has found to be an exhilarating adventure.

Compelled to start the Finishing School for Modern Women in September 2015 to help women be more successful in business and life, Jill believes she’ll never be “finished.” She is excited to learn along with the school’s students and speakers. Knowing that reinvention is vital during change, Jill founded the Badass Women of Wichita Alliance in October 2020.

Active in her community, Jill is the Past Chair of the Friends of the Wichita Art Museum and Wichita Professional Communicators. Currently, she is a board member of Camp Innovation Destination and co-chair of the annual Know Your Worth Women’s Leadership Conference. In her spare time, Jill is usually a social butterfly with a love for meeting new people and attending community and cultural events. Her quarantine partner, miniature rescue poodle Jack, tried to be a considerate remote coworker and helped her narrowly hang onto her sanity while stuck at home during COVID.
